He entered his first bass tournament at the age of 12 and has never looked back. He joined the ranks of professional bass fisherman at 18 and is still the youngest qualifier for the BASSMasters Classic. By the age of 33 he had already reached 2 of the greatest goals in angling becoming both BASSMasters Classic Champion and Wal-Mart FLW Tour Champion. Osage Beach, MO – Team Chevy pro Dion Hibdon of Stover, Mo., caught a five-bass limit weighing 15 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win the Stren Series Central Division tournament on Lake of the Ozarks with a four-day total of 20 bass weighing 55-03. For his victory, Hibdon earned $25,000 cash and a $40,000 198VX Ranger boat powered by Evinrude. Read Story
